Estudio Villanueva gives a lecture at the Packaging & Labelling Innovations Fair 2010
The international trade show for branded packaging took place in Barcelona on April 14 and 15.
Estudio Villanueva has been selected to participate in the LearnShops of the third Packaging & Labelling Innovations 2010 trade show in Barcelona. These learn shops are independent mini-seminars, including high quality content and networking activities to stimulate thought and discussion and to give new ideas about enhancing brand performance.
Our creative director, Fernando Villanueva Martín, gave a lecture with the title "New identity signs for wines and olive oils from Castille-La Mancha". In his speech, Fernando spoke about the necessity to adapt the design of labels, bottles and packaging not only to the market requirements but also to the new quality of the products, which Castille-La Mancha ("the world's biggest vineyard") has long been producing. In order to do so, we need new creative and innovative wine labels, bottles and packaging, said Fernando. Estudio Villanueva has been working for many years in this field and created numerous packaging and labelling designs for the wines and olive oils of many companies.
This year, the Packaging & Labelling Innovations Trade Show has been visited by 3,500 professionals and was strongly focused on what is new, creative and innovative in packaging and labeling. The show combination has been designed for brand managers and owners, marketing executives, and other big spending decision makers who needed to get a fast and simple overview of what is on offer – and who wanted to make direct contact with the supplier.
A total of 130 exhibitors presented their newest researches and developments in the fields of graphic and industrial design, branding and brand promotion, materials, eco-packaging, PLV, publicity, packaging, print industry and 'intelligent packaging', labelling, production technology, codification etc.
Packaging & Labelling Innovations 2011 will take place on 23 and 24 February in Barcelona.
