España Original: The great Spanish Agro-Food Business Trade Fair
Estudio Villanueva has developed successfully several communication projects for España Original, the National Trade Fair of Designation of Origin and Other Agri-Food Products of Quality.
Estudio Villanueva has developed with great success different projects for several companies who participated with a stand in the 3rd Spanish Trade Fair of Designation of Origin and Other Agri-Food Products of Quality, España Original, which took place from 11 to 13 May 2010 in the town of Ciudad Real. Among the projects, accomplished by Estudio Villanueva, it is worth highlighting the stand of Encomienda de Cervera (www.encomiendadecervera.com), who presented in the trade show its wines, olive oils and farmhouse cheeses.
The biennial show ended its 3 workdays with a "very satisfactory balance, the success of an initiative that is already launched and navigating at full speed ahead", according to Mr. Nemesio de Lara, the institutional coordinator of the fair. 71,040 commercial contacts were made by Spanish and international buyers, an increase of 6.29% with respect to the previous edition. 707 companies offered their products, all related to gourmet groceries, quality certifications, ecological production, ready meals and delicatessen. Among the offered food there were such quaint products like midget olives, violet jam, rose jelly or cheese made of the milk of black sheep that pasture on volcanic lands. The companies offered also a very wide range of organic olive oil.
On another note, the Sabor Original Gallery, one of the "star" tools of the Trade fair, has received 100,800 visits during the 3 days, a 7.3% increase over the previous edition, offering a total of 430 products, 62 of which were organic products.
The total number of accredited people who came to the Fair increased to 36,696, 9.2% more than in 2008. Regarding the presence of buyers, a total of 1,933 have worked the Fair, a number that surpasses by 116% the previous edition. Of these buyers, 728 came from 51 countries around the world.
De Lara made also special emphasis on the 1,393 meetings held within the program "Contact with…." for buyers and exhibitors. Another 1,201 meetings were held in stands, and 192 at the Business Centre.
